Condition: The Porsche is in great running condition. The car was repainted 5 years ago using a pecan shell blasting procedure during this process they discovered a dent that had been fixed above the left rear fender. That is the only damage to the body that is known. All of the #'s on the Porsche certificate match the #'s on the car. Our Porsche mechanic said someone has gone through the engine and done some work. The car runs great and we drive it all the time. Stainless steel in excellent condition. There is some floor pan corrosion as well as the outer rockers. The left torsion tube support bracket will need to be replaced. All of the older Porsche's have had or will have corrosion problems. There have been several articles in the Panarama magazine regarding this floor pan problem. A knew floor pan can still be purchased from Porsche PET Germany for the 911, year 1971 for $2,800. Pelican parts also sells smaller sections of the floor pan for replacement. There are also restoration design companies who perform this type of work. We are the 4th owners and we have all of the paper work as well as the orginal sticker. We even have the orginal tool kit and jack. We are selling the car because we are moving to the islands and the climate is not generous to this type of classic car. Payment: Deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 7 days of auction close. Shipping: Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping.
